Programmers – In today’s world, we can say that the profession of programming is very widespread and it is no longer strange that it goes much further than fixing a computer as it was done before. The computerization of society is gaining rapid progress and is now in all civilized parts of the world, affecting almost all spheres of our lives.
In addition, the work of our programmers has been of great help to all of us. It is for all this that this activity develops very widely, becoming more and more massive, and collaborating with the advancement of modern society.
It is also known as International Programmers Day and its celebration is based on binary code, and all programmers know how special this number is. This is a two to the power of eight, that is, the number of characters that fit in one byte of computer memory. Note that, taking this into account, it can also fall on September 12.
Well, this all comes from 2002, when Russian programmers Valentin Balt and Michael Cherviakov of Parallel Technologies rallied workers and collected signatures to urge the Russian government to declare Programmers’ Day.
However, it was not until 2009 that the Russian Ministry of Mass Media recognized this day as an official holiday.
